It’s very soft and does not pill. The inside of the sweater is also very soft so you do not feel any scratchiness from the sequins.

The weight of the sweater knit is perfect ... mid-weight, so pretty much for all year ... love it ! Got the heather green and navy and love both ... now have the royal blue and the cadet blue !!
